4. Latch/strike misalignment – If the latch doesn’t fully engage or the strike plate is off, the door won’t compress the gasket properly.
   
5. Hinge or closer issues – Loose hinges, hinge pin wear, or a faulty door closer can cause the door to sag or not close fully.
   
6. Frame or jamb misalignment – Floor settling or box movement can prevent the door from closing flush.
